I need to explain why after a very long absence I intend to start blogging again. I hadn't written a blog since Michael Jackson died until one of my co-workers asked me for the Master Cleanse. As I began to re-realize (did I just coin a new word?) how easy and professional (and free!) blogging is I've decided to take it up again.
In the past I've used websites, blogs and networking sites like MySpace and Facebook as a means of promoting my music. That didn't always pan out the way I'd hoped it would. But today I think I will assert my desire to participate in the reconciliation ministry of Jesus Christ in a very unique way - by starting an online ministry that is not preachy, non-judgmental and just as real as a live conversation! I've named it Jerome Bogan Ministry. Today I command it to come to life in Jesus' name!
I reserve the right to offer my opinion, insert an occasional scripture and to sometimes be wrong! Nobody's perfect...not even me! But since I enjoy writing and enjoy discussing the things of God, I think I will enjoy this journey.
I've gained a lot of life experience in my 53 years (mostly through pretty horrific mistakes!), I've learned a lot of lessons. I also believe I have gained considerable wisdom by reading and listening to great spiritual leaders like my former Pastor and brother-in-law Prophet Hunter; my present Pastor, Dr. A.R. Bernard, the television ministries of T.D. Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Mark Chironna, Joel Osteen and so many others.
If I can use any of what I've gained to help somebody in need or to help somebody who is not in need help somebody else who is in need then this online ministry will be a great success.
